On Thursday, August 5, I had occasion along with Aera Yoon to visit Little Elm Public Library to do an interview with Tina Hager and her staff. We are in the process of putting together a video about the Texas Workskills Development in Libraries program.

The proposals were close and generated some good discussion. In the end, we settled on the proposal from JIST because it came closest to our target goals. Our libraries should expect material from them by July.
Thank you to all the companies who submitted proposals.

This project is facilitated by NTRLS, supported by five partner organizations, and our combined memberships include 353 public libraries. The Workskills Development project seeks to distribute to each of these public libraries a self-guided workforce literacy product which may be lent to the public. These products will target adult patrons whose literacy skills are at or below 4th Grade Level Equivalency.
